2½ cups
flour
¾ tsp.
baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 cup
butter, softened
½ cup sugar
½ cup light
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 large egg
½ tsp.
vanilla
2 cup (12 oz.)
butterscotch chips
Preheat
oven to 375° Line cookie sheet.
In a small
bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In a large
bowl, cream butter and sugars until light.
Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth.
Gradually add flour mixture until combined. Stir in chips.
Drop
rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookies sheets.
Bake about 10 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
Cool
several minutes before transferring to rack to cool completely. Store in airtight container.
Makes 4
dozen 3 inch cookies.
